Foodshed Take Away offers work force training placements on a rolling basis. Each trainee starts under a three-month probationary period and stays based on performance thereafter. Participants are expected to work at least 20 hours per week.

The Selection Process

Foodshed Take Away selects trainees based on a candidate’s background and interests, taking into account their desire to overcome past/present barriers. While previous food industry experience is helpful, it’s not required as much as a commitment to the Program and to the Foodshed team.
